Als process engineer zal je intern het aanspreekpunt zijn voor de implementatie van productaanpassingen en het opstarten van nieuwe producten op de assemblagelijn. Hiervoor heb je enerzijds nauw contact met de productmanagers en de R&D afdeling en anderzijds met de productie en field-technicians. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de optimalisatie van de productieprocessen en de verbeteringen die doorgevoerd moeten worden. Je komt terecht in een innovatieve en technologische omgeving waar je op maat gemaakte opleidings- en doorgroeimogelijkheden kan terugvinden.


  • Samen met R&D en de productmanager doorloop je de roadmap van de producten en bereid je de nodige documentatie voor om aanpassingen of nieuwe producten efficiënt door het assemblageproces en de productie te loodsen;

  • Je stelt verschillende routings, workflows en lay-outs voor van de werkstations;

  • Hiernaast pas je de materiaallijsten aan in functie van het assemblageproces;

  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de optimalisatie van de assemblageprocessen en het aanbrengen van verbeteringen om technische problemen te voorkomen en de kwaliteit te verbeteren;

  • Je documenteert de problemen die zich voordoen in de productieprocessen en informeert de R&D afdeling hiervan;

  • Je bent hands-on en technisch onderlegd en komt graag geregeld op de productie en assemblage vloer;

  • Je zorgt ervoor dat de QHSE-normen opgevolgd worden en dat de doelstellingen i.v.m. Lean en CI behaald kunnen worden.


  • Je beschikt over een master of bachelor diploma idealiter in een richting mechatronica of elektromechanische afstudeerrichting;

  • Je hebt een sterke elektromechanische achtergrond en hebt ervaring met elektrische, elektronische en mechanische componenten. Hiernaast heb je ook op vlak van software de juiste ervaring om al deze componenten met elkaar te laten communiceren;

  • Hiernaast kan je relevante werkervaring voorleggen met het opstarten van productielijnen in een assemblageomgeving;

  • Je bent vertrouwd met de principes Lean en CI;

  • Je doet graag onderzoek naar nieuwe ontwikkelingen binnen de productietechnologie;

  • Je bent hands-on ingesteld, hebt een sterk probleemoplossend vermogen en komt dynamisch en ondernemend over;

  • Naast het Nederlands heb je ook een goede kennis van het Engels;

  • Ervaring met MS Office pakketten is een must met name Excel.
