We're looking for a VAT Specialist for a well-known Big10 firm. Ready to take the next step and grow into a Manager role within the Brussels team ? Our client is hiring a VAT Consultant for a Manager position within a team of 15. The setup is straightforward and healthy: a stable team for over 10 years, steady growth, and plenty of room to evolve. With more than 60 years in the market, the firm offers a solid platform without the usual churn.You'll join a global network active in Audit, Tax, and Advisory, combining international reach with strong local know-how. The culture is flexible and entrepreneurial: everyone is encouraged to shape their own career path, take ownership, and grow at their own pace while contributing to a dynamic, responsive team.Manage a team of 10-15 individualsPrepare VAT & Intrastat reportsEnsure account reconciliations with VAT returnsCollaborate with Belgian and foreign VAT authorities, staying abreast of VAT legislation evolutionDefend VAT files during auditsMitigate risks and exposures for businessesCollaborate with the VAT team to enhance and optimize VAT procedures and processesHold a bachelor's & Master degree in Accounting or Legal studiesPossess strong interpersonal skillsHave a minimum of 5 years of experience in the VAT or Tax domainFluent in English, with a good proficiency in French and/or DutchCommunicative and professional, with the ability to easily establish and maintain relationshipsCapable of working under pressure while respecting confidentialityCompetitive salary package with benefits such as hospitalization and group insurances, meal vouchers, and a company carRecognition and appreciation through an attractive bonus systemAttain the flexibility you've always desired with flexible schedules and 32 days offJoin a respectful, caring, and unified team ready to welcome youSeeking stability?
