Our vendor developed file transfer frameworks and setups, used for both internal and external connections.

We support the products IBM Connect: Direct, sFTP via OpenSSH and Stonebranch UDM (Universal Data Mover) on both Mainframe and Open Systems. This makes us the point of contact for the support teams when more complex file transfer problems arise.

Apart from central framework & application support for our client's internal file transfers, we manage file transfers to and from external parties via the Axway Synchrony GateWay and Seeburger and are responsible for the data transfers between on prem and cloud.

You will work as a Systems design Engineer.

You immediately receive operational assignments and the associated responsibilities, and thus get to know the systems in order to grow further.

After on the job training and an introduction period you will be responsible for setting up, installing and maintaining the Middleware components on open systems, z/OS and cloud. This brings you into contact with all possible aspects of file transfer.

You work together with colleagues of our team in a challenging and changing environment. You ensure the necessary realizations in accordance with the agreed timings.

manage and update the current file transfer frameworks

assisting the other ICT teams in setting up new transfers

Establishing, maintaining and troubleshooting external and internal connections

Incident & problem management follow-up on reducing recurring issues

Your strengths

In addition, you have knowledge in the following domains:

Relevant experience in a filetransfer context

Experience working in an agile context using Jira/Kanban

Intermediate knowledge of Linux

Knowledge of file transfer concepts, ranging from certificates, codepages, protocols,

Scripting skills are a plus

A sense for a very varied and broad deployment due to the integration atmosphere: deployment on both Open Systems and Mainframe, packaging, maintaining scripted

is quality-driven and detail-oriented

is fluent in English and Dutch
