Welcome to your future team. As a Performance Engineer (employee or freelancer) you will become an indispensable asset to our Banking Solutions division headed by Sabrina Defraene.

What you'll be doing

As a Performance Engineer (performance testing, improving monitoring capabilities) you'll work on our Multi-Bank payment platform.

This includes activities around the processing of several types of payments, fraud detection, digital signatures with various types of tokens,

You will take part to the implementation of our roadmap which includes the roll-out of new security tokens, enhanced anti-fraud detection, further advances in instant payments, a renewed technology architecture, a new mobile App, the addition of new services like e-invoicing, self-servicing,

As a reliability engineer, you will ensure that all our solutions meet our performance targets and potentially improve existing flows.

You will setup automated performance testing, propose and/or implement optimizations in the codebase and improve the observability of our applications.

You have a strong interest in performance testing, combined with an interest in monitoring tools and dashboards for operations.

You are an expert in database optimization, Java code optimization, monitoring tools,

You are continuously improving the product, methods, processes, tooling, and take ownership of some tracks in the improvement process.

As our platform is key to the Belgium economy, you are not afraid to jump into bug fixing mode with your colleagues when an incident occurs in production (related to performance).

You are fluent in English, French or Dutch is a plus
