Gems IS is seeking a talented, motivated and experienced SAP ISU Analyst to join our team. The Analyst will play a crucial role in analysing business requirements, designing solutions, and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across various projects and initiatives.
You will collaborate closely with developers, other business analysts/testers, and stakeholders to understand requirements, design test cases, execute testing activities, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Your challenges
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional specifications
Conduct analysis of existing systems, processes, and data to identify opportunities for improvement
Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business objectives
Develop and maintain documentation, including requirements, process flows, and user guides
Conduct user acceptance testing and provide support during implementation phases
Monitor and evaluate system performance, identifying areas for optimization and enhancement. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in functional analysis and business process optimization
You perform the implementation (customizing, write technical specs for the developer)
You perform unit tests and integration tests
Your profile as a analyst
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
Proven experience in functional analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on understanding complex business processes and system interactions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Min. 8 years experience in IT service organization
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have competencies
Knowledge of the Energy market in Belgium
Languages
Fluent in either French or Dutch and next to an excellent understanding of English.
