We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team, specializing in creating and maintaining technical documentation for advanced optical metrology equipment used in the semiconductor manufacturing sector. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, product management, and regulatory teams to ensure accurate, clear, and compliant documentation that meets both internal and external requirements.
Key responsibilities
Develop, update, and maintain technical manuals, including installation guides, user manuals, and maintenance instructions
Utilize DITA (XML-based) authoring with Ixiasoft as the content management system to produce structured and standardized content
Ensure documentation complies with regulatory standards, such as CE, Ul, EMC, safety, and ergonomics requirements
Work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables
Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather technical information and ensure its accuracy and clarity
Coordinate with internal and external teams for translation and localization projects, particularly into Chinese when required
Requirements
Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in high-tech or regulated industries
Proficiency in DITA and Ixiasoft CMS or similar XML-based content management systems
Familiarity with regulatory standards relevant to high-tech equipment (e.g., CE, Ul, EMC)
Strong command of English, with excellent writing and editing skills.
Ability to work independently on multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines
Flexible, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset
Knowledge of Chinese is a plus but not mandatory
