R&D Project Controller

Je bent geboeid door de regels rond projectkredieten en stelt samen met een collega de regels op rond uitgaven conform de onderliggende contracten. Je staat samen garant voor kwalitatieve periodieke financiële rapporteringen en begeleidt de audits van de controlerende overheid.
Takenpakket:
- Jij maakt analyses voor de tussentijdse opvolging van onderzoeksprojecten;
- Je behoudt het overzicht, en stuurt de kosten bij met een coachende houding; Je geeft anderen inzicht in de voorwaarden omtrent het relevante financieringsmodel; Zo garanderen we samen een correcte en optimale besteding van de middelen, en tenslotte een succesvolle rapportering van de onderzoeksprojecten.
- Je onderhoudt ook graag je programmatechnische kennis omtrent de financieringsmodellen van de Vlaamse, Federale, Europese en internationale overheden, instellingen of bedrijven;
- Je bereidt audits voor die door subsidiërende instanties regelmatig worden gehouden;
- Je bent sparring-partner van de projectleiders, bij wie ze met hun financiële vragen terecht kunnen.
- Je bepaalt maandelijks de gerealiseerde project-omzet en bent aanspreekpunt voor onze bedrijfsrevisor in het kader van de jaarlijkse statutaire audit.
- Je stelt optimalisaties voor en kiest waar mogelijk voor verbeteringen a.h.v. automatisering.

- Je bent klantvriendelijk en communiceert professioneel;
- Je hebt sterke analytische vaardigheden en een kritische geest;
- Je werkt graag in excel om inzichten te krijgen vanuit de financiële data;
- Je houdt nauwkeurigheid hoog in je vaandel;
- Je werkt graag planmatig en gefocust;
- Je haalt daarnaast ook werkplezier uit afwisseling van taken.
- Je hebt een financiële achtergrond en/ of controlling ervaring; én de houding van een kenniswerker, die graag bijleert;
- Je kan minstens een bachelor diploma voorleggen in een bedrijfseconomische of boekhoudkundige richting;
- Je hebt daarenboven een zeer goede kennis van het Nederlands en Engels.
Aanbod Je werkt vanuit de afdeling finance en gaat dagdagelijks in dialoog met de projectleiders vanuit de business. Je werkt hierin vooral samen met een collega Project Controller en een collega Business Controller.
Je werkt vanuit onze site te Leuven.
