Broadcast System Engineer Freelance: The Role
As a Broadcast System Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Developing and implementing next-generation TV studio technologies.
Maintaining and managing existing production tools, including cameras, video infrastructures, and graphics systems.
Deploying and optimizing IP-based solutions in a broadcast environment (e.g., SMPTE2110).
Supporting the transition from traditional hardware systems to innovative software-driven solutions.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams such as directors, technicians, and producers to meet technical needs.
Troubleshooting and solving technical issues during live broadcasts to ensure uninterrupted production.
Broadcast System Engineer Freelance: The Required Skills
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Sciences, Computer Science, Multimedia, or equivalent experience.
A solid background in broadcast and IT technologies, including virtual sets, augmented reality, and control room systems.
Familiarity with audio/video over IP systems, especially SMPTE2110, is a plus.
Prior experience in TV or audiovisual production is an advantage.
Broadcast System Engineer Freelance: The Contract Details
Start date: ASAP.
Contract duration: 12 months, with the possibility of extension (up to 2 renewals).
Daily rate : 520-620
Work setup: two days on site per week/ three day remote.
