Our client is setting up an organization for the deployment of a major FTTH Rollout in Belgium. We are looking for a Rollout Manager to ensure timely progress of the project. The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of project management and construction.

Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for the progress, cost and quality of the project construction
  • According to the requirements of the Sub-project objectives, formulate the Sub-project progress baseline plan and acceptance plan
  • Support the plan control manager to complete the integration of the project plan
  • Formulate and optimize the deployment SOP (Standard operating procedures)
  • Manage the PMO team and Project teams
  • Ensure that all activity is conducive to the achievement of project goals on time
  • Lead necessary training to project member

  • Follow-up meetings synergy works, during start-up together with design, then takes over and takes the necessary steps (summary meeting on share-point)
  • Follow-up meetings Wyre (summary meeting on share-point)
  • Follow-up meetings Design (summary meeting on share-point)
  • Follow-up meetings city or municipal administration (summary meeting on share-point)
  • Follow-up progress and time planning trenching/blowing
  • Follow-up progress and time planning welding works
  • Follow-up progress and time planning Otdr meetings
  • Follow-up material
  • Control progress and time planning measurement statements (purchases orders) in combination with on-site responsible
  • Follow-up and management of Site Planner/Site Managers/Warehouseman
  • Drawing up and managing schedules up to 6 months
  • Follow-up of escalations and claims file
  • Go's minimum 1 time a week to the field to check the work evolution and make a quality check
  • Creates a weekly summary report with all tasks/POP zones performed, problems encountered and how they have been or will be solved, anticipated problems in the future...

Requirements & qualifications
  • Rich experience in project management
  • Previous experience in projects regarding Odn (Optical Distribution Network)/FTTH deployment would be a plus
  • PMP, Prince2 or equivalent certificate would be a plus
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills. Previous experience leading a team of 5-30 people would be a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • We are looking for an adaptable, driven, and result-oriented team-player
  • Languages: Dutch native speaker with good English, both written and oral. French would be a plus.
