PropEase automates and simplifies document management in the real estate sector. With ever-increasing regulations, compliance requirements, and the sheer volume of documents, our solution is designed to save time, reduce errors, and ensure every document is where it needs to be—when it’s needed most.


Our platform offers 3 features to streamline document classification, retrieval, and validation. Using advanced algorithms and machine learning, PropEase automatically groups and classifies documents, provides context-aware search capabilities, and alerts managers of any missing or expired documents in their datarooms. With PropEase, asset managers can focus on high-value tasks, while our system handles the time-consuming administrative work—ultimately turning hours of document handling into minutes.

Machine Learning Engineer – Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) Platform

PropEase is building an advanced IDP platform to revolutionize real estate data room management. We’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to further develop three core features as a proof of concept. No fluff—just challenging technical work that will drive automation in real estate.


Your Mission:

  • Auto Classification of Documents
  • Develop unsupervised learning models, leveraging clustering methods to automatically classify documents commonly found in real estate data rooms.
  • Smart Search with NLP
  • Build a context-aware search engine using NLP, enabling users to retrieve the exact documents based on semantic understanding rather than keyword matching.
  • Document Alert System
  •  Create an alert tool that detects missing or expired documents by comparing current data room contents with a standard full data room, helping users maintain compliance.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Can develop a first local Proof of Concept with Make, Gradio or StreamLit libraries
  • Strong experience in clustering algorithms (K-Means, DBSCAN, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of NLP models (BERT, GPT, etc.)
  • Familiarity with document management in real estate is a plus
  • Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries (scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
  • Hands-on experience deploying ML models in production environments

  • Technical Expertise
  1. Clustering Algorithms: A deep understanding of clustering methods like K-Means, DBSCAN, and hierarchical clustering is crucial for developing the Auto Classification feature.
  2. NLP Proficiency: Experience with advanced NLP models such as BERT, GPT, or similar for building the Smart Search feature that can understand context and semantics.
  3. Python and ML Libraries: Strong coding skills in Python and experience with libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
  4. Production-Ready ML Models: Hands-on experience deploying machine learning models in production environments, focusing on model optimization, monitoring, and continuous learning.


  • Problem-Solving Abilities
  1. Real-World Document Management Challenges: While real estate experience is a plus, the ability to understand and adapt to real-world document management scenarios is key.
  2. Complexity Handling: Comfortable dealing with unstructured data, designing solutions that enhance automation, and maintaining high accuracy.


  • Project Ownership and Initiative
  1. End-to-End Development: Experience taking projects from ideation through implementation and deployment, including optimizing models and integrating them with broader systems.
  2. Independent Worker: Since the role is remote and heavily focused on delivering challenging technical tasks, the ideal candidate would be self-driven, proactive, and capable of working with minimal supervision.


  • Communication Skills
  1. Technical and Non-Technical Communication: Ability to explain complex algorithms and technical concepts to non-experts, such as real estate professionals, and collaborate with other team members.
  2. Feedback Incorporation: Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating on solutions based on user and team input.
