Sopra Steria is looking for a Security Engineer in order to reinforce its fast growing Security team.

As Senior Security Engineer, you will be part of the Security team involved in various Security projects including: cybersecurity, cryptography, PKI, reverse engineering, malware detection, penetration testing, Security of critical systems, Security Analysis,...

Your mission
  • Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information
  • Identify and define system security requirements
  • Collaborate with the architect on system security design
  • Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
  • Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices
  • Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
  • Ensure that the company knows as much as possible, as quickly as possible about security incidents
  • Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement

Your profile
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Fluent in English as this is the communication language in the region and Group, active knowledge of French and/or Dutch
  • Diplomacy and pragmatism: ability to transform governance into technical solutions
  • Project Management skills is a plus
  • European Citizenship, must be able to pass a background check, valid clearance to EU Secret and NATO secret is a plus
Your knowledge/experience:
  • Experience in cryptography, encryption technologies and authentication schemes.
  • Implementation of a PKI infrastructure using Hardware Security modules, configuring certificate profiles, managing certificate lifecycle and software maintenance.
  • Knowledge of PKI technical standards : X.509, ASN.1 and PKCS
  • Development/Troubleshooting/Debugging in Perl, PHP, Java, PowerShell, Bash, ...
  • Operating systems configuration: Windows and Linux
  • DBMS and Operating Systems Security settings as well as OS hardening
  • Basic knowledge of DevOps standards in the context of Integration projects : use of GIT (GitLab), use of Collections and Playbooks (Ansible)
