Als Reliability Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het analyseren van onderhoudsdata om vast te stellen welke machines niet voldoen aan de bedrijfsdoelstellingen. Je maakt gebruik van verschillende analysemethodieken zoals Root Cause Analyse (RCA), Bad Actor Analyse (BAA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), en het reduceren van de Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Je spoort abnormaal hoge (verdoken) onderhoudskosten op en legt de focus op de grootste, duurste en meest kritische onderdelen.


Bij nieuwe projecten hanteer je Life Cycle Management (LCM) en ben je betrokken bij het Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) proces, waarbij de nadruk ligt op predictief/proactief onderhoud in plaats van reactief onderhoud. Risk Based Inspection (RBI), inclusief wanddiktemetingen, behoort ook tot je takenpakket.

Op basis van je analyses bepaal je het nodige preventieve onderhoud, inspectieprogramma's, smeerprogramma's en de benodigde wisselstukken. Indien nodig doe je verbetervoorstellen voor technische aanpassingen en/of kostenreductie en neem je de verantwoordelijkheid voor de uitvoering van deze aanpassingen. Je stelt de benodigde budgetten op en begeleidt audits en andere wettelijke vereisten.


Je bent nauw betrokken bij de ontwerpfase, valideert lastenboeken, stelt preventieve plannen op, bekijkt wisselstukken, kent tagnummers toe en werkt samen aan het updaten van de boomstructuur in het onderhoudsbeheersysteem bij installatiewijzigingen of projecten. Tevens draag je medeverantwoordelijkheid voor het actueel houden van het onderhoudsbeheersysteem.

Functie eisen

Als Reliability Engineer ben/heb je:

  • Een bachelor- of masterdiploma Elektromechanica of gelijkwaardige ervaring.
  • Ervaring in complexe industriële omgeving.
  • Een probleemoplossend vermogen en kan je zowel zelfstandig als in team aan de slag.
  • Communicatief sterk in het Nederlands en Engels (Frans is een PLUS).
  • Kennis van SAP of een vergelijkbaar CMMS-systeem.
