They're on a mission to provide businesses and communities with a solution to transition to clean, efficient energy. As they expand, they are looking for a Lead Developer who is passionate about both technology and sustainability to help drive their growth and development.
As the Lead Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction and architecture of their platforms. You'll lead a team of developers, ensuring the successful development and delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions in the renewable energy space.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of developers to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications
- Develop the frontend using React or Vue (depending on your preference and expertise)
- Work on the backend using Node.js or Nest.JS to build robust APIs and services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, UX/UI, Data, and Business) to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Oversee code reviews, promote best practices, and ensure high code quality across the team
- Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical strategy
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Lead Developer or senior developer with strong leadership skills
- Strong frontend development experience with React or Vue.js
- Expertise in backend development with Node.js or Nest.JS
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, MicroServices, and cloud-based architectures
- Experience with modern development tools, Version Control (GIT), and CI/CD pipelines
- Passion for renewable energy and a genuine interest in making a positive impact on the planet
- Bachelor's or higher in an IT-related field
- Fluent in Dutch and English
