Talencia Consulting is looking for a Data Warehouse Engineer for a renowned client based in Brussels.
The main responsibility of this position is to integrate SAP data in the Cloud in order to get data analytics and insights.
The ideal applicant will be familiar with the nuances of SAP BW cubes and be able to duplicate their logic in our Data Warehouse while modifying the data model to account for various technological limitations.
Responsibilities
- Take part in modeling and integrating SAP data into our environment.
For effective data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from several systems into our cloud Data Warehouse, design, implement, and manage scalable data pipelines
Work together with cross-functional teams to comprehend the needs for data and make sure that the data integration properly facilitates business analytics and decision-making procedures
Put in place data quality frameworks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
For improved performance and support for intricate analytical queries, optimize our data models and ETL procedures.
To continuously enhance our data architecture, be informed about the most recent developments in cloud data warehousing solutions, particularly within the GCP ecosystem
Design, development and maintenance

Data retrieval and analysis
They ensure efficient retrieval, processing and analysis of large data sets — all crucial for transforming vast data quantities into actionable insights.
Project scoping

Requirements
- At least 5 years in a similar role working on data integration and warehousing projects
Bachelors or Masters in IT or equivalent through experience
Experience with cloud (Azure/GCP/AWS)
- Strong knowledge of reporting, data modelling, SAP BW and SAP
Problem solving abilities, team player and autonomous
Strong communicator and collaborator
An equivalent combination of relevant practical experience and a master's or bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative subject.
