What do we expect from you? Are you a passionate security consultant with in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity solutions and experience with Trend Micro and/or Qualys solutions? Do you want to help organizations enhance their digital resilience through innovative solutions such as Trend Micro’s Vision One or the Qualys platform? If so, we are looking for you As a Security Consultant, you will play a critical role in advising our clients on deploying and optimizing Trend Micro and/or Qualys solutions to improve their security posture.
You will work closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and implement solutions that mitigate risks, protect critical assets, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Additionally, you will participate in presales activities, working closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise and ensure successful client engagements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in security. You design state-of-the-art architectures and advise customers on best practices for security that align with clients’ business objectives and compliance requirements.
In addition, you are the client's first point of contact for everything related to these security solutions and you also know where to turn to within Uptime Security if the client is faced with other issues.
Who are you? You have a bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent through experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience cybersecurity, with a focus on endpoint security, cloud security, or network protection.
Hands-on experience with Trend Micro products such as Trend Micro Vision One, Cloud One, or Deep Security.
Hands-on experience with Qualys products such as VMDR, CSAM, Total Cloud or other.
Strong understanding of Risk Management and its application in improving security postures.
Excellent communication and consulting skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and recommend effective solutions.
Certifications such as Trend Micro Certified Professional, Qualys Certified Specialist or equivalent are a plus.
You have knowledge of security frameworks such as Cyberfundamentals, NIST, CIS and ISO27001.
You have a good understanding of security methodologies, best practices and industry standards.
You take a proactive approach to cybersecurity, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
You think out-of-the-box and dare to question solutions: you hate standstill and are driven by change, innovation and transformation.
You are a team player and put the common good first.
You are stress-resistant and adapt easily in a dynamically changing context.
You are known as a fluent communicator. You are fluent in Dutch and English.
French is a plus.
