Your job
- As a Data Analyst/Power BI Expert at Laco, you'll be responsible for
- • Understanding and mapping out the requirements of the business
- • Playing a pivotal role in extracting valuable insights from data to inform strategic decisions
- • Collecting, cleaning and pre-processing data from various sources
- • Working closely with cross-functional teams and leveraging your expertise in Power BI to create compelling visualizations and reports
- • Designing, optimizing, and developing Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business needs and requirements
- • Working closely with stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
- • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with Power BI reports, transforming complex data sets into meaningful insights through the creation of data visualizations
- • Staying up to date with the latest Power BI Microsoft Fabric features and best practices to excel in this role
Your skills
- You have a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
- You have an analytical mindset
- You have proven experience as a Power BI Developer or a similar role
- You know all about the programming languages SQL, DAX and Python
- You can model data using Kimball, Dimensional Modelling and Data Vault
- You are proficient in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling and custom visuals
You get even more bonus points if
- You have a good knowledge of Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Databricks
- You are familiar with diverse types of data Storage for structured data
- You are a strong communicator with teamwork abilities
- A Koala, Panda, Python are more to you than just exotic animals or R is not just what pirates shout
- You are fluent in Dutch and/or French and English
