Experienced Functional Analyst with a demonstrable experience in drafting requirements in an enterprise or government context, preferably in projects with a workflow component and/or projects with a complex data presentation layer. Demonstrable experience with large-scale projects where all aspects were covered, from analysing application requirements, proposing then data transformation from source data to documenting or a structured way in tools such as Confluence should be able to be presented. Clear demonstrable experience with workflow tools such as Camunda or similar is a must.

your job

  • In consultation with the programme leader and project leaders, users and clients, draw up functional specifications that the IT system must meet.
  • Assist the programme leader, project lead and development team: perform the role of 'Product Manager' (when appointed as such) in order to ensure the efficient use of the product in question as well as the proper functioning of the applications developed with it.
  • Working with the domain manager to define the product policy
  • Acting as a reference person and "owner" of the product, thus providing the necessary support to developers and users
  • Giving advice to optimise the use of the product
  • In cooperation with the technical manager, provide the necessary tools in order to facilitate the work of users and developers
  • Document the product adequately in a structured manner
  • Study and design the information system in order to best meet the specific project requirements and/or business demand
  • Investigating functional needs: dissecting problems and studying existing situations, proposing solutions
  • Gathering information, seeking advice on new application domains, specialisations
  • Drawing up data, process and behavioural analysis, specifications, planning, information analysis
  • Submitting to project leader and development team
  • Make improvement proposals regarding quality, deadlines and efficiency of works to be carried out

    your profile

    • You have a senior experience as a Functional Analyst
    • You have experience with Agile methodologies
    • You have a professional experience with BPMN, Camunda, Jira, MS Project & Prince 2
    • You have good knowledge of SQL and UML
    • You are fluent in English and French
