Accountant - German speaker

Our client is an international group with a strong reputation in the luxury sector.

Missions

-You will manage the accounting from A to Z of a German subsidiary as part of the group's global

accounting, which includes:

o Bookings (invoices suppliers - Banks - Payroll - Accruals & Provisions)

o Payments (Electronic)

o G/L accounts reconciliation - Individual (Customers-Suppliers) accounts reconciliation

o Approval process management

o Every-2-months closing (J+10) and Yearly closing (J+20)

o VAT - Intrastat Returns.

- You will be part of the accounting team in charge of 8 group entities in several countries and participate in other accounting tasks.

-You will report to the Accounting Manager in Brussels.

-You will work with Group stakeholders (including with German colleagues).

-You will communicate with HR team (monthly) and Tax consultant (yearly) and other advisors where necessary.

Profil du candidat

• Ideally 2 to 5 years of experience as Accountant.
• A strong knowledge of German (C1) and French (B2/C1).
• Ideally a good knowledge of SAP FICO.
• Used to work within BE-GAAP.
• Proficiency with MS Office Tools, and very good knowledge of Excel.
• Basic Tax knowledge (VAT - Intrastat - Corporate tax).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Team player and goal oriented
