Marsh NV/SA UK Branch is looking for a

Business Analyst M/F

Based in Belgium

What can you expect :

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects and workstreams related to all Brexit protocols and the timely reporting of Branch businesses.

Reporting to the Head of Distribution and collaborating with the Head of Marsh Specialty UK, teams in UK, Belgium and possibly other European countries, you will be instrumental in managing the UK Branch governance and structure, as well as ensuring effective communication with key stakeholders to drive progress and execution of the Distribution strategy. You will also be working towards leveraging the benefits of insurance solutions across different markets.

We will count on you to:  

  • Support the Head of Distribution in all branch committee meetings

  • Help establish and maintain governance to drive execution and alignment, and coordinate key initiatives

  • Provide reporting oversight and monitoring of all the business in the branch, covering all practices.

  • Provide and structure analytics, presentations and where appropriate be involved in key client meetings across Continental Europe, working closely with all the Branch practices

  • Connect and communicate across Marsh Specialty UK and Europe stakeholders on key sales objectives.

  • Develop and maintain market knowledge and relationships with a broad range of Marsh colleagues in the UK and EU.

  • Effectively plan and organise workload in order to meet business timescales.

  • Provide updates and regular reporting of branch business both through the Branch and Head Office committees.

  • Produce Management Information to support the oversight of the branch business.

  • Provide regular reports to the Continental Europe Management and Risk Committee on branch results.

What you need to have:

  • Prior experience of Insurance preferable

  • Ability to identify trend and opportunities from sales MI and other market trend

  • Strategic analytical capabilities and strong reporting and data analysis skills.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet demanding timelines.

  • Professional demeanor with strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to develop coherent and concise key messages, supported by impactful presentation and communication materials.

  • Experience working in a heavily matrixed, complex corporate environment, including building, strengthening, and influencing relationships across teams

  • English/Dutch/French
