Demand Planning Specialist

Job Description

Organon is looking for a Demand Planning Specialist that will be assigned a portfolio of countries belonging to the Mid-Europe cluster (made up of France, BeLux and Switzerland) and you will coordinate, analyze, and submit the monthly Demand Plan for the products of your portfolio. You will be reporting to the Supply Chain Operations Manager Mid-Europe. The successful candidate will be offered a one-year contract to begin with.

This function involves cross-functional collaboration, and it is expected from you to lead the forecast discussions for your countries/products and support Commercial teams to reach our commercial targets

Responsibilities

Primary activities include, but are not limited to:

• Own and improve forecast accuracy of the cluster consistently and share the best-practices with your team colleagues to improve the accuracy of the cluster.

• Act as key contact for Commercial or any other function at cluster and/or market level.

• Prepare and lead monthly Cluster Demand Review meetings to update forecasts.

• Prepare and support/lead monthly Integrated Business Planning process (IBP) meeting, prepare and share meeting minutes and ensure that actions and follow-ups are made accordingly.

• Collect and analyze business intelligence from market stakeholders in the 36 monthsâ time-frame.

• Identify gaps between financial plans and demand plans and act accordingly. Manage and proactively resolve escalated supply issues via effective coordination and communication in close cooperation with the relevant teams such as Demand Fulfillment, End-to-End, Global Demand Management and local commercial teams.

• Drive the dialogue each month with local Commercial, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Demand Fulfillment and Supply Planners to ensure a proper stock level and market coverage.

• Support the demand aspect for product launches, new product introduction / deletion governance.

• Be the backup of other demand planners when needed, including the manager of the team.

• Support colleagues with the monthly Intrastat Declaration.

• Support the team with any market/cluster or regional initiative or project.

Skills and experiences required

• Master of science in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain or equivalent degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry.

• Six Sigma knowledge is an advantage.

• Knowledge of Supply Chain environment, GxP and Regulatory constraints.

• Solid stakeholder management experience: proven ability to build, develop and maintain productive relationships with different stakeholders.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Autonomous, pro-active, decision maker and comfortable with ambiguous situations.

• Knowledge of IT tools, such as Microsoft Office and SAP.

• Fluent in English and French and/or German is a plus
