Consultant, KYC
Advise banks and other financial institutions on best practices in KYC management including designing and implementing solutions for effective KYC processes.
Responsibilities:
- You refine the backlog to support the Product Owner of the squad
- Work experience in European banking industry is required
- You play an active role in the refinement of user stories to ensure user story feasibility
- You translate business requirements into functional designs, ensuring compliance by design
- You align with the architects to make sure the designed solution is in line with the architectural roadmap
- You work closely together with various departments in a financial institution to refine the user stories and finalize the functional design
- You help your client in addressing requests from various stakeholders – e.g. regulators, auditors etc
- You play a key role in the quality assurance of the delivered solution; supporting the team in user acceptance testing and aligning with the stakeholders is one of the important responsibilities
- You build the bridge between business and IT.
Our ideal candidate:
- Masters degree preferred
- At least 4 years’ experience in KYC and CDD processes and reporting in banks and financial institutions
- Experience in designing KYC, CDD processes and building solutions to address these processes
- Understanding of KYC, CDD processes as applicable to different types of banking customers
- Ability to analyze the business requirements into solution design and implement the solution
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Dutch and/or French professional fluency is an advantage
- SQL literacy is an advantage
