Job purpose: 

• Develop a world class operation through the use of continuous improvement, efficiency savings,automation, documented processes and demand flow technologies with a team of empoweredand engaged employees to continuously meet customer expectations.
• Consistently drive the business forward whilst instigating challenging cost reduction andoperational improvement programmes with a focus on driving reductions in product complexityand Lean savings in order to achieve maximum operational effectiveness.
• Work with key customers to promote location technologies, systems and products and serviceswhilst continuing to provide excellent customer service.
• Lead, influence and develop all employees to maximise their potential and ensure optimumperformance.

  Key Accountabilities: 

  • Achieve zero accidents through positive leadership of HSE processes and culture.
  • Support sales growth by developing operational excellence, premier customer service,cost reduction activities and empowering employees.
  • Optimise customer satisfaction through the implementation and maintenance of Parkersystems and tools.
  • Continuously improve productivity and value stream lead times through the use of Leantools and techniques.
  • Ensure site leadership team remain accountable for all aspects of the location KPIs.
  • Effective and timely completion of team PPPs and reviews.
    

    qualifications

    • Degree in a business, technical or management discipline.
    • Proven experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
    • A proven track record of managerial experience in a successful operations management role.
    • Knowledge of business and operational processes.
    • Ability to lead people and obtain results through others.
    • Ability to organise and manage multiple priorities using effective problem solving /resolution skills and a team focus.
    • Ability to effectively and persuasively present information to management and employees.
    • Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand âcurrent stateâ business practices and recommend and facilitate appropriate âfuture stateâ opportunitie.
    • Has a proven track record of effective Lean implementation and continuous improvement activities.
    • Systems orientated.
    • Able to understand and respond to business/customer needs and expectations.
    • Fluent spoken and written French and English.
