In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating closing exercises, budgets, and quarterly forecasts, as well as organizing reporting to the management committee.
Your primary duties and responsibilities include as Business Controller:
- You initiate (1), coordinate (2) (team of 7 controllers) and consolidate (3) the quarterly closing, budgeting and forecasting exercises.

(1) on the basis of company objectives and economic factors, you define the priority items to be controlled
(2) make sure that the exercises are carried out on time and to the highest quality standards
(3) carry out checks at consolidated level and transfer the figures to the company's financial model in order to determine expected profit and financing requirements. - Based on the various inputs, you produce insightful, action-oriented reporting for the Executive Committee
- You work to improve the company's financial model in order to enhance forecast.
- You make recommendation to improve our controls

Your Profile
- You have the desire to invest yourself in a team at the heart of the company's operations and therefore to understand the different business lines and major challenges
- You have a university degree (master level) either in civil, industrial or commercial engineer or a degree in science (mathematics, physics, chemistry)
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience
- You are analytical and rigorous
- You are able to model complex problems
- You are fluent in at least two of these three languages: French, Dutch and English.
- You are familiar with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Power Point) and Power Query (or willing to learn).
- You have good communication skills
- You can work independently, take initiative and solve problems.
