Role Purpose
Involve in performing the feasibility study of technical data received from customer, float the RFQ to SCM and calculate Cycle time & NRC
Reporting Relationships
Reporting into Manufacturing Engineering / Estimation Engineering Sr Manager / Manager

Getting the SCM inputs on-time and competitive quote

On time submission of Estimation

Internal Process Perspective

On time completion of feasibility study
Co ordinate with SCM to get the quotes in time

Capability Perspective

Able to develop Trainees

Baseline Responsibilities

Desired:

Understand and interpret technical data (2D drawing & 3D Model) and specifications of various customers (Airbus, Boeing, Collins, Safran etc.).
Manufacturing knowledge to decide on the sequence of operations & resources required including machines.
Milling and Turning machines knowledge.
Cutting tools and parameters knowledge for different materials (Aluminum, Steel, Titanium etc.).
Perform feasibility study of the technical data received from customer and float RFQs to SCM.
Cycle time & NRC Calculation.
Co ordinate with SCM to get quotes in time & resolve their technical queries
Understand & record the technical gap wrt customer requirement & existing capability and provide solution to mitigate that risk

Preferred:

Fixture design & Manufacturing knowledge.
Surface Treatment/Special Process & Heat treatment knowledge.
knowledge on Catia V5.
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools especially MS Excel

Educational Requirement and Experience
BE with 3 years of manufacturing experience preferably from Aerospace domain
