We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Organic Chemist to join our team and take on the exciting opportunity of developing solvent recovery processes for API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) production. As scientist you will play a crucial role in developing, documenting, and improving the efficiency of solvent recovery methods.
responsabilités
- Using process simulation software (e.g. DynoChem, Aspen and/ or Chemcad) for designing and optimizing organic solvent recovery efficiency.
- Conduct distillation experiments in the lab to assess the recoverability of solvents and identify areas for process improvement.
- Evaluate and document the analytical purity results of recovered solvents to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform and document quality and risk assessments related to the usage of recovered solvents, ensuring their suitability for API processes.
- Coordinate and support the development of analytical methods for the analysis and characterization of recovered solvents ( Including but not limited to GC-MS, LC-MS) .
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize solvent recovery processes and implement best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and innovations in solvent recovery techniques and apply them to optimize recovery efficiency.
qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry or a related field.
- Strong expertise in organic chemistry, particularly in the development and optimization of solvent recovery processes.
- Proficiency in evaluating and documenting analytical purity results of solvents using various analytical techniques ( including but not limited to GC-MS, LC-MS).
- Experience in performing quality and risk assessments related to solvent usage in API production.
- Knowledge of analytical method development and characterization techniques for solvents.
- Hands-on experience with distillation experiments and solvent recovery equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in working within the pharmaceutical or chemical process industry.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality control standards for the recovery and usage of solvents in API manufacturing.
