Our client, an innovation-focused organization in the trade credit insurance sector, is seeking a specialist to shape core architecture and implement AI automation. The role focuses on building scalable cloud environments and developing high-quality web services within a collaborative, trust-based environment.
- Lead the technical development of web services, including APIs, backend systems, and overall architecture.
- Serve as a senior advisor to define optimal technologies, tools, and architectures for diverse projects and ventures.
- Implement and systematically deploy best practices to ensure sustainable scalability and modular application design.
- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and operational efficiency.
- Automate internal processes for risk and data analytics teams through custom technical solutions.
- Perform AI-based regression testing and programmatically integrate AI models into existing services.
- You have 8+ years of experience in backend development using Python , FastAPI , Celery , and SQLAlchemy .
- You possess 8+ years of expertise with cloud platforms and container orchestration, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , GKE , and Kubernetes .
- You bring advanced experience in DevOps practices including Gitlab CI/CD , ArgoCD , Helm , and Docker .
- You have professional experience with database management and tools such as PostgreSQL , SQLModel , and Alembic .
- You possess a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure components like VPC networking , IAM , Secret Manager , and BigQuery .
- You have experience implementing security and identity standards such as JWT and REST APIs .
- You bring knowledge of Linux system administration, Nginx , and network security tools like ufw or iptables .
- You're a proactive, self-starting professional with a high level of intellectual integrity.
- You are fluent in English .
Nice to Haves
- Experience with frontend technologies including TypeScript , Next.js , and NPM .
- Knowledge of WordPress administration and plugin/theme development.
- Familiarity with data architecture or B2B trade environments.
- Active knowledge of Dutch or French .
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: 3 months (initial contract until 31/12/2026)

- Location: Brussels
- Working model: Hybrid (flexible remote options available)
- Contract: open to both permanent employees and freelancers
