As an Innovation Engineer, you will lead and participate in project-based collaborations with large to mid-sized manufacturing companies. If you're passionate about turning future visions into clear, actionable strategies, let's talk.
In a nutshell
- Analyze: During the initial phase, you'll analyze both internal and external drivers, clarify playing fields, and craft compelling opportunity directions while facilitating discussions with key decision-makers.
- Identify: The second stage calls for identifying technological enablers and uncovering both obvious and hidden needs. You'll connect these insights into innovative opportunities that resonate with a client's core competences.
- Conceptualize: Finally, you'll define the functional value propositions, using cross-industry inspirations to build differentiated concepts. Your concepts will allocate innovations on future horizons and develop roadmaps for market deployment.
Your role
Your role extends beyond strategy. You'll engage in technological research, lead dynamic workshops, present findings, consult with clients, and help shape design briefs that empower internal R&D teams. Your position brings new challenges and opportunities to influence the future of innovation.
Your profile
Experience: At least five years or equivalent in industrial design engineering (product and process development) combined with project management expertise.
Education: A Master's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Design Engineering (or equivalent).
Methodologies: A strong grasp of design thinking, future-back approaches, scenario building, storytelling, and other creative strategies. Experience in developing innovation portfolios, next-generation product propositions, or technological problem solving is highly valued.
