Job Description:Field Service Engineer - Wastewater
Our client is an industrial services company specialized in water technologies and solutions, providing on-site services at their major accounts in the north of Belgium. To sustain the strong growth of its activities in Flanders, we're currently searching for a Field Service Engineer.
Responsibilities:- Carry out chemical tests on site and monitor the program;
- Report to the customer/data processing using the InSight platform;
- Monitor and manage the progress of the business;
- Frequent review of key performance indicators agreed with the customer, in close collaboration with the account manager;
- Carrying out site surveys, equipment start-up and commissioning;
- Management of repairs, maintenance and warranties;
- Maintain close verbal and written contact with the various levels of the customer's organization;
- Project coordination;
- Support contract costing;
- Follow and conduct technical training courses;
- Carry out pilot and field tests;
- Participate in local team meetings to share best practice;
- Report all workplace accidents, illnesses, hazardous occurrences, near misses, incidents and property damage.
- Bachelor's degree or holder of a higher diploma in chemistry or equivalent by experience;
- Great flexibility (on-call 2-3 days/week) and ability to resolve problems;
- Fluency in Dutch OR French WITH English;
- Good communication and IT skills - Very good command of Windows office software and Google tools (in particular MS Excel/Google Sheets);
- Experience and/or interest in process and water treatment is a plus;
- Experience in the industrial sector is a plus;
- Possession of a driving license is required;
- Analytical mind, solution and service oriented, team spirit but also independent;
- Taking initiative, motivated by technical improvements.
