Your responsibilities:
As a B1 + C Licensed Aircraft Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing civil aircraft, particularly the Airbus A330, in line with Sabena Engineering's commitment to high-quality service and safety standards. You will work across Belgian airports, contributing to diverse line and base maintenance projects, ensuring operational excellence for our clients.
- Oversee and certify the quality and completeness of maintenance tasks performed on the Airbus A330 to ensure compliance with EASA regulations and airworthiness standards.
- Review and sign off on completed work packages, ensuring all documentation, inspections, and tests are performed to regulatory and company standards.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities meet safety, quality, and compliance standards before aircraft release.
- Conduct post-maintenance checks and provide technical approval for aircraft to return to service.
- Analyze technical information, read engineering diagrams and manuals, and apply this knowledge to resolve issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal teams and other departments to provide the best service to clients and ensure aircraft readiness.
- Provide guidance and oversight to B1 technicians to ensure maintenance activities align with approved procedures.
Your profile
- Valid EASA Part 66 B1 + C License, with type rating for Airbus A330.
- Additional type ratings (e.g., A340, A350, A320, Boeing 737, 777, 787) are an advantage.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in aircraft line and base maintenance.:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Flexible work ethic, with a willingness to perform weekend and urgent maintenance tasks as needed.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of French or Dutch is an asset.
