Cloud Security Consultant – Defender Suite (XDR) and Sentinel Job Description A Defender Suite and Sentinel security consultant: implements, configures and maintains secure technology infrastructure solutions in Microsoft 365 for the full Defender Stack gives technical trainings and can host technology workshops (internally as well as for customers) ensures technical security best practices are implemented has a focus on the Microsoft (Security) EcosystemHas a technical background in SCCM and/or Intune Has technical and/or conceptual knowledge of the Microsoft defender stack Has experience (background) with other Anti-Virus solutions and/or SIEM solutions Keep up-to-date with the latest news/product updates & features in this constantly evolving technology stack Translate compliancy and business requirements into technical secure workplace solutions understand and implement zero-trust security architecture Who are you? Communication :able to communicate complex technical information to customer’s IT staff able to communicate effectively with other members of the organization, such as executives and end-users able to adapt communication to the relevant public Critical thinking :able to think critically and creatively to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities and adapt configurations able to adapt to changing security threats and technologies able to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders on all levels within an organization, to achieve common goals Security baselining for endpoints and servers Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) Microsoft 365 Security technologies Microsoft Defender Vulnerability Management Microsoft Sentinel You embrace lifelong learning and aren’t afraid of learning new things. Develop/build new solutions, always look to optimize, automate your work Microsoft security related certifications are a plus – willingness to get certified for MS security certifications like SC-300, MS-500, SC-200, MD-102 or equivalent ) Industry relevant technical certifications are a plus Proficiency in Dutch and English is required, French is a strong plus, other languages are a plus.
