As a Lead Product Owner (M/F/X) you are a strategic and visionary leader responsible for overseeing the activities of multiple product owners while defining and implementing best practices. This role requires a combination of excellent leadership skills, deep understanding of product management, and a strong ability to collaborate across teams to drive the success of product initiatives. Key Responsibilities : Leadership and Oversight Oversee and provide guidance to a team of product owners, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic vision and goals. Mentor and develop product owners, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. Collaborate with senior management to define the product strategy and roadmap. Ensure effective prioritization and management of product backlogs to maximize product value and delivery. Defining Best Practices Establish and promote best practices for product management, including processes for product development, backlog management, and release planning. Develop and implement standardized tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and consistency across product teams. Ensure adherence to established best practices and provide support where necessary. Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including executives, customers, and partners. Facilitate communication and collaboration between product owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency. Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to inform product decisions and improvements. Product Vision and Strategy Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's overall objectives. Translate the product vision into actionable plans and deliverables. Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform product strategy. Performance Measurement Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives and teams. Regularly review and assess the performance of product owners and their respective products. Identify and address any performance gaps or areas for improvement. Budget Management Oversee the budget for product development and delivery, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Monitor and control expenditures to stay within budget while maximizing product value. Provide regular budget reports and updates to senior management. As Lead Product Owner (M/F/X), you will report to the Head of Applications & Development and work from our Vilvoorde office. Degree: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Experience: You have a proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management, with a track record of successfully managing and delivering products. Languages: You are fluent in Dutch & English. Knowledge of French is an advantage. Skills: Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience overseeing and developing teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices in product management. Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions and measure success. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations. Experience in budget management and resource allocation. Interested in joining our team?
