Project Manager Security Location : Mechelen, Belgium Contract Duration : 12 Months Work Mode : Hybrid Languages: Dutch + English Overview : Project start-up & preparation You initiate projects, authorize the start-up phase and fully develop the project initiation. You prepare the implementation accurately. Project execution from A to Z You plan the various project phases, monitor the implementation and monitor timing, budget and quality. You monitor progress with a keen eye for risks and close each project carefully. Project management support You support managers in action management. You will ensure the coherence of the project agenda. You ensure clear communication with all stakeholders. You guarantee the procedural and administrative quality, including cross-checks and reviews. Transfer after delivery You ensure clear control mechanisms during implementation. You define clear measuring points for specifications. You will draw up SLAs for maintenance plans, spare parts and intervention times. You document lessons learned for future trajectories. Responsibility & influence You are responsible for: The proper functioning of the project team (including ICT, procurement and technology). A timely and high-quality project output. Consequences of deviations Delays, budget overruns, or loss of quality. Inefficiency margin in resources. Risky legal or image-related consequences. Leadership You provide functional leadership within the project team. Knowledge & experience Master's degree or equivalent through experience. 3–5 years of experience in physical security aspects. Thorough knowledge of risk management, project management and project control. Demonstrable knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures. Smooth with common software tools; knowledge of the Public Procurement Act is a strong asset. Problem-solving skills You keep an overview of complex, technical and multidisciplinary projects. You read strengths and weaknesses of team members flawlessly. You can effortlessly adjust when obstacles arise and bring creative solutions. You work independently within the framework of procedures and project agreements. Skills 3 to 5 years of experience in physical security aspect Knowledge of the specific and current software Knowledge of the Public Procurement Act is an added value Knowledge of risk management, project management and control Knowledge of legal regulations and procedure Problem-solving skills
