Learn more at About the Role Our Brussels office is seeking a Summer Trainee to join our Intellectual Property Team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IP law, including patents, trademarks, designs, and copyright, while contributing to high-profile client matters in a fast-evolving legal landscape. Responsibilities Assisting with IP advice and support for clients across multiple industries Conducting research on patent, trademark, and copyright issues Drafting legal documents, memos, and correspondence Supporting IP litigation and enforcement matters Monitoring and summarising IP legislative and policy developments Collaborating with senior associates on strategic IP projects Qualifications Currently enrolled in a law degree (LL.B., LL.M., or equivalent), ideally with a focus on IP or technology law Strong academic record Excellent research, analytical, and drafting skills Outstanding command of English; French, Dutch, German, or other EU languages are an asset Motivated to gain practical experience in a collaborative, high-performing team environment How to Apply If you are ready to gain hands-on experience and contribute to challenging IP matters, please send your CV, cover letter, and academic transcripts to jennifer.laforgia@twobirds.com.
