EU Nationals and NATO Nationals, excluding the US, who do not need a work permit or who possess an unlimited single permit to work in Belgium.
As Engineer Equipment Operator, you will:
- Operate a variety of gasoline or diesel-powered engineering equipment such as multi-purpose Truck 38T, Dump truck 26T with crane & container, Utility truck UNIMOG with attachments, Runway Sweeper, Road Sweeper, Runway Snow Sweeper, Excavator, Backhoe loader, Agricultural Tractor, Forklift, Construction Telehandler, Snowplow Truck, etc. with/without a variety of attachments
- Maintain and clean/sweep runways, taxiways, roads, parking lots, walkways, pavements, road edges, road gutters, road gullies, drains, water drainage channels, etc.
- Install or repair fences including mixing concrete, digging holes, setting posts and wires, cleaning the base.
- Operate excavator or backhoe to excavate, dig, backfill
- Attach, move and use equipment such as Trailer, Brush, Salt Spreader, Airport Spreader, Airport Sprayer, Snowplow, Snow Blower, etc.
- Perform Ground Maintenance Operations. Operates agricultural tractors, flail mowers, arm mowers, airfield mowers, chipper wood, etc.
- Perform Snow & Ice Removal Operations. Clear runways, taxiways, hangar spots, roads, parking lots, etc. Operate a variety of specific heavy winter equipment such as Multi-purpose Truck 38T equipped with Airport Spreader, Runway Snow Sweeper, Snowplow Truck, Snow Blower, Airport Sprayer with spraying arms, etc.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES/CONNAISSANCES, COMPETENCES & APTITUDES:
- Skill to operate gasoline or diesel-powered engineering equipment
- Ability to attach, move and use equipment such as Trailer, Brush, Salt Spreader, etc.
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to react quickly to sudden events
- Ability to perform risky handling operations
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS/LANGUES REQUISES:
French: Good command required
English: Desirable
• DRIVING LICENSE/PERMIS DE CONDUIRE:
Valid B, C and CE: Required.
Vocational certificate: Required
The selectee must be able to obtain and maintain a government driver's license.
Travel for business may be required up to 5%
Occasional on-call required

The SELECTEE will:
•Provide an extract of criminal record: "Modele 1". This document may be requested to the local resident registration office.
