Intern – Communications – Partnership DepartmentOrgalim | Europe's Technology Industries is looking for an Intern to support its communication activities in the Partnership Department. This is an opportunity to get hands-on experience in one of the leading industry associations in Brussels, focusing on issues that are high on the political agenda and key to Europe's industrial base. Who we areOrgalim has a team of over 30 people - 18 nationalities - representing the interests of Europe's technology industries: innovative companies spanning the mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and electronics, ICT and metal technology branches. We are working with policymakers and stakeholders to strengthen our industries' growth and global leadership, to maximise their contribution to Europe's economy and society, and to foster a new relationship of trust between businesses and citizens. Our Partnership department provides services to more than 20 associations across a diverse spectrum of technology sectors. A dedicated multidisciplinary team of advisers delivers a tailored offering ranging from monitoring to advocacy, to association management, communication, strategy and support. Job brief and responsibilitiesThe Intern will support several European technology industries sector associations, working together with colleagues in the Orgalim Partnership and collaborating with Orgalim's Communication team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, curious and hands-on colleague with excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn. The responsibilities include:Contributing to various advocacy activities and communication projects, ranging from content creation to campaign development;Assisting in meeting and event organisation;Supporting marketing initiatives, including the development of social media posts and newsletters;Designing visual assets using tools such as Canva (knowledge of video creation is a plus);Updating and maintaining content on websites; Your profile University degree in Marketing or Communication related fields;Multitasking, organisational and planning skills;Attention to detail;Strong written and oral communication skills;Very high proficiency in English; good knowledge of other European languages is a plus;Critical thinking skills (e.g. ability to solve problems, ability to ask thoughtful questions);Willingness to propose new ideas and solutions Ability to work as a team player, as well as independently;Willingness to travel if necessary.
