The Sales Director Benelux Consumers will lead and implement this ambition.Mission of the positionThe Sales Director will lead commercial operations across Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg. This role is designed for a hands-on sales leader with entrepreneurial spirit, capable of driving execution, building strong customer relationships, and delivering profitable growth. The position focuses on market development with as key challenges:Reinforce differentiation and competitiveness in BelgiumSuccessfully open and establish the company's presence in the NetherlandsDrive profitable growth across all three marketsKey responsibilitiesCommercial strategy• Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy for Belgium and Luxembourg; propose and validate the market entry plan for the Netherlands.• Define pricing policies and commercial terms aligned with corporate guidelines.• Conduct strategic and competitive market analyses to identify growth opportunities.• Prepares and manages the operating and investment budget for sales department.• Monitor performance through KPIs and propose corrective actions to ensure profitability.Key account management• Build and maintain strong relationships with major retail and distribution partners.• Negotiate strategic contracts and ensure optimal execution.• Identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions to strengthen partnerships.• Drive actions to increase turnover, margins, and share of shelf.• Oversee account planning and ensure alignment with overall business objectivesGo-to-Market (new territories, new clients)• Design and implement a go-to-market strategy for the Netherlands, including channel selection and customer acquisition plans.• Identify and prioritize new business opportunities in all three markets.• Develop partnerships with prospects and potential collaborators to accelerate market penetration.• Ensure effective onboarding and integration of new clients into the company's commercial ecosystem.Communication and Management• Organizes vertical and cross-functional communication.• Reports on their activity to their line manager through regular reports and alerts of any malfunctions.• Promotes the group's image internally and externally.• Leads and motivates the team in accordance with the group's management practices.Profile we are looking for• Proven experience in sales leadership, ideally in FMCG, consumer goods in Belgium, Netherlands and/or Luxembourg.• Strong ability to execute and deliver results in competitive markets.• Strong ability to develop a market entry strategy and deploy a execution mindset.• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.• Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach.• Native level in Dutch, excellent command of French and English.
