The company you’ll be joining is a fast-growing B2B product and technology organisation based in Mechelen, building data-driven solutions that help businesses operate more efficiently and make better decisions.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines powering B2B products, analytics, and operational processes.
  • Build and optimise cloud-based data lakes, data warehouses, and modern data platforms.
  • Integrate data from APIs, databases, SaaS platforms, IoT devices, and other enterprise systems.
  • Develop robust data models and transformation layers that support product analytics, reporting, forecasting, and business intelligence.
  • Ensure high standards of data quality, reliability, monitoring, governance, and orchestration across the data platform.


Your Profile

  • 2–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused engineering role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Experience with modern data technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Microsoft Fabric, or similar.
  • Practical experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Good understanding of Apache Spark and modern data platform architectures.
  • Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD, and ideally Kubernetes.
  • Comfortable working in a product-led, agile environment and collaborating with software engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with B2B products, SaaS, IoT, industrial, energy, or time-series data is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, pragmatic mindset.
  • Fluent in English.
