An exciting opportunity is open for an experienced Accounting Manager to join a dynamic Financial Services environment in Brussels. This role combines strategic oversight, people leadership, and high-level client management within a fast-paced and international context.Your responsibilities as an Accounting Manager :Drive team performance to achieve operational KPIs through coaching and motivationExecute business strategy in alignment with management directionCollaborate closely with supervisors and local stakeholdersMonitor workload, planning, and productivity across the teamDevelop team capabilities while ensuring procedures and policies are appliedOversee a full client portfolio through technical expertise and team leadershipReview client accounts, periodic reporting, annual accounts, and statutory filingsEnsure quality and compliance of VAT, tax returns, and financial reporting (BE GAAP / IFRS)Coordinate and follow up on client auditsManage client relationships, expectations, and escalationsSupport commercial activities including fee proposalsCoordinate onboarding of new clientsDrive process optimisation, standardisation, and continuous improvementAbout you :You are a Dutch or French native speaker with fluent EnglishYou hold a Bachelor in Accounting and a Master in Tax or equivalentYou are a certified ITAA memberYou bring 5 years of experience in outsourcing or multinational environmentsYou have strong experience in team leadership and coachingYou demonstrate excellent people management and collaboration skillsYou focus on quality, problem-solving, and hands-on executionYou proactively suggest and implement improvementsThe offer :Independent statusGrowth and long-term development in an international environmentA value-driven culture based on integrity, respect, and professionalismFlexible hybrid working model with up to 3 days of homeworking per weekA forward-thinking environment that embraces innovation, modern practices, and continuous improvementJoin a dynamic and ambitious team operating from modern offices in Brussels, where expertise, collaboration, and innovation come together.
