Senior Solution Architect Join to apply for the Senior Solution Architect role at Pauwels Consulting. We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to take end-to-end ownership of the functional and technical architecture within a key business domain. You design clear, scalable domain architectures and translate complex business concepts into structured models, services and solution options that guide digital change across the organisation. Lead the functional and technical architecture for a strategic domain within a large federal organization managing complex pension services. Bridge business and IT, coach fellow architects, and shape digital transformation across one of Belgium's critical public services. What you'll do Own functional and technical architecture for one of seven tactical domains Define business services and translate complex requirements into clear architectural solutions Work closely with business stakeholders and domain application architects Prepare strategic change initiatives and design high-level tactical transformations Define functional scoping for projects and product teams Coach and mentor other architects on ArchiMate, best practices, and stakeholder communication Implement shared vocabulary between business and IT stakeholders Partner with Domain Portfolio Manager to embed architecture into governance Navigate complex pension regulations and structure solutions for stakeholders Actively participate in the Solution Architect Community What are we looking for? Expert-level ArchiMate knowledge and enterprise architecture experience Proven experience in organizations with 2,000+ employees Concrete experience within Belgian federal government services Track record coaching and guiding other solution/business architects Expert-level BPM and process optimization capabilities Native Dutch fluency + active working knowledge of French and English Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders Ability to distinguish strategic priorities from tactical details Team player comfortable with ambiguity and complexity To Apply Include a 5-line statement in your CV on how you see yourself functioning as a Solution Architect.
