In the business unit Business Assurance, we certify quality systems, as well as safety management systems & Workplace Health, environmental protection systems (including energy management) and operational HACCP systems.
To represent SGS Belgium NV, we are currently looking for an Auditor Energy & Environment.
Job DescriptionIn your role, you will audit management systems for energy and environmental at our clients. You will coordinate operations as part of certification and contribute to the development and implementation of our audit requirements ISO 50001 and/or ISO 14001. You will support the further development of our management systems services for energy and environment in the market.
QualificationsOur ideal candidate has completed a university or non-university education (Master's or Bachelor's). You have at least 5 years of professional experience in a production environment, of which at least 2 years of professional experience in energy management, or you have completed training on the technical aspects of energy management (minimum 40 hours).
You are familiar with systems such as ISO 50001 and/or ISO 14001. If you have the Certificate of Environmental Coordinator or knowledge/experience in managing greenhouse gas emissions (carbon, etc.), that is an asset.
You possess excellent communication skills and are bilingual (Dutch/English), with knowledge of French being a plus. You are precise, organized, and know how to work autonomously. A valid driving license is required.
