We are looking for a Logistics Director to join our international supply chain organisation. Holding responsibility for the EMEA region, you will further develop our highly engaged team and create customer delight, enabling value creation for customers, throughout an agile, responsive logistics and highest quality in warehousing and freight.

Your proven track record of steering logistics operations to new heights on a global scale, teamed with your experience within the life science field will enable you to thrive with Hologic.

  • Strategic Leadership: Craft and execute a logistics strategy that aligns with our ambitious growth plans, optimising our distribution network across the EMEA region.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement, leveraging your expertise to enhance logistics processes, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Team Development: Lead and inspire a diverse, high performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Project Management: Manage projects, develop business cases and a plan for success that can be replicated and built on across the region.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless supply chain integration and customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Oversight: Optimize financial performance and deliver cost effective logistics, ensuring budget execution aligned with targets and clear accountability for delivering on commitments, promoting continuous improvements and developing cost savings initiatives.
  • Process Management: Ensure logistics processes are well documented and SOPs are updated, allowing the highest level of compliance, successful audits, and timely resolution of CAPAs and non-conformances.

What We Expect:

  • Proven experience in a senior logistics and supply chain management role within the medical device, pharmaceutical, FMCG, or biotechnology field.
  • Considerable experience working across the EMEA region, enacting change and improvement.
  • Strategic thinker with a knack for problem-solving and a track record of delivering results.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Experience in Cold Chain and management of supply chain of highly regulated products.
  • Experience in parcel services and spare parts management.
  • Strong analytical and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively navigate a multicultural environment.
