HVAC Service Technicus (Servicemonteur)

Als Servicemonteur bij Carrier heb je een unieke impact op onze klanten en ben je het gezicht van het vertrouwen dat wij uitstralen, terwijl je hun comfort waarborgt. Jouw kennis van commerciële HVAC-systemen is essentieel voor het werken aan diverse installaties, reparaties en onderhoudsprojecten. Kansen om zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband te werken, zullen je in staat stellen zowel samen te werken als zelfstandig beslissingen te nemen tijdens je werk. Dit is een uitstekende kans voor iemand die gepassioneerd is over het vak en zijn vaardigheden naar een hoger niveau wil tillen.

Bovendien heeft Carrier een beschikbaarheidsrooster dat zorgt voor een betere werk-privébalans, waarbij de beschikbaarheidsdienst in de meeste locaties om de 7-8 weken wordt gehouden.

Essentiële Taakomschrijving: (dagelijkse taken en verantwoordelijkheden)
  • Inspecteren van airconditioning-units om een efficiënte werking te waarborgen.
  • Uitvoeren van regelmatig geplande onderhoudswerkzaamheden aan verwarmings- en koelsystemen.
  • Diagnose stellen van mechanische en elektrische storingen.
  • Installeren, vervangen of repareren van beschadigde apparatuur; kalibreren van thermostatische besturingen.
  • Nieuwe verwarmings-, ventilatie- en airconditioningsystemen installeren; beschadigde of versleten onderdelen en apparatuur vervangen of repareren; lage- en hoge-druk vloeistofleidingen repareren of vervangen.
  • Inspecteren en observeren van de druk van vloeistoffen en dampen met instrumenten om een efficiënte werking van de eenheid te waarborgen en de nodige aanpassingen te maken; inspecteren en onderhouden van koelapparatuur, inclusief koelkasten, ijsmachines, gaspakken en warmtepompen.
  • Onderhouden van de koude- en warmewatervoorzieningssystemen.
  • Aanpassen en onderhouden van interne elektrische en elektronische besturingssystemen; het reinigen van spoelen, blazers, controleren van motoren en riemspanning.
  • Het monteren en installeren van metalen luchtkanalen.
  • Ondersteunen bij de planning en het ontwerp van nieuwe installaties van verwarmings- en airconditioningsystemen.
  • Bijhouden van onderhoudsrecords zoals vereist door de stad, de staat en de EPA-regelgeving.
  • Extra taken en verantwoordelijkheden uitvoeren zoals vereist.
  • Risico's en gevaren herkennen die samenhangen met de uitvoering van alle werkgerelateerde taken en veilig werken.
  • Werken aan het verminderen van de risico's die gepaard gaan met essentiële taken.
  • Samenwerken met het management om veilige werkomstandigheden te behouden.
  • Deelname aan een uitgebreide, OSHA-goedgekeurde veiligheidscursus (bij voorkeur OSHA 10- of 30-uur cursus) en naleving van de bedrijfs- en regelgevingseisen.
  • Het verkrijgen of dragen van een geldig laagspannings elektriciteitskaart.
  • Het verkrijgen of dragen van een EPA-koelmiddellicentie.
  • Het dragen van het juiste, door het bedrijf verstrekte uniform.
Kwalificaties
  • Middelbareschooldiploma of gelijkwaardig vereist.
  • Geldig rijbewijs vereist.
  • Minimaal 2 jaar ervaring in de HVAC-sector vereist.
  • Mogelijk vereist om een mondeling examen af te leggen volgens de lokale eisen.
  • In staat om tot 50 lbs te duwen, trekken of tillen.
Kennis van:
  • Principes en werkwijzen van HVAC-onderhoud en -reparatie; risicobeheer en veiligheidspraktijken die gebruikelijk zijn in het vakgebied.
  • HVAC-besturingssystemen en veiligheidsapparaten; relevante veiligheidsgegevensbladen (SDS's)/chemisch gebruik; gereedschappen van het vak; materialen en koelmiddelherstelapparatuur en -procedures die worden gebruikt bij het installeren, repareren en onderhouden van HVAC-systemen.
  • Gecomputeriseerde elektrische circuits en systemen zoals ze betrekking hebben op airconditioning, verwarming, ventilatie en gekoelde koeling.
  • Plaatmetaal, elektriciteit, loodgieterswerk en timmerwerk.
  • Basiskennis van gebouwautomatiseringssystemen.
