Freelance Azure Network Engineer - Long TermWe are seeking an experienced Azure Network Engineer to design, implement, and secure hybrid network environments spanning on-premises infrastructure and Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on advanced networking, firewall management, DNS architecture, and security best practices, including Zero Trust principles and Entra ID integration. You will play a key role in building secure, scalable, and resilient network architectures.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and support hybrid network architectures across on-premises and Azure environments.Manage core networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing.Design and maintain Azure networking components such as VNets, subnets, NSGs, and VNet peering.Configure, manage, and optimise Azure Firewalls and FortiGate firewalls, including Web Application Firewall (WAF) capabilities.Implement and manage secure ingress and egress traffic flows.Support and configure Azure Application Gateway, Azure Front Door, and related load-balancing solutions.Design and manage secure connectivity using Azure VPN Gateway, site-to-site and point-to-site VPNs.Implement Private Link and private endpoints for secure service access.Architect and maintain Azure DNS, including Private DNS Zones and DNS Private Resolvers, alongside on-premises DNS integration.Additional Details:START DATE: ASAPDURATION: Long termCONTRACT: FreelanceONSITE POLICY: Wallonia Region (flexible remote working)HOURS PER WEEK: Full timeLANGUAGES: French and EnglishINTERVIEW PROCESS: One stageIf you are interested or know anyone who could be a good fit please send your CV to matthew@Kodastaff.com
