We're Hiring: Technical Designer / Tech LeadBrussels | Start date : ASAP | English fluent + good French (and ideally good Dutch) We are looking for an experienced Technical Designer / Tech Lead to join an IT Employee Benefits team as part of a large-scale application modernization program. Your MissionYou will play a key role in redesigning and rebuilding legacy applications into a modern technology stack. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will help capture existing capabilities and translate them into scalable, high-quality solutions. Key ResponsibilitiesCoach and support an offshore design & development teamCo-create and review technical design deliverablesPerform code reviews to ensure high quality from both technical and design perspectivesCollaborate with business analysts and solution architects on system designDesign and develop specific system featuresSupport system testing and user acceptance testingPromote best practices such as clean architecture, DDD, and design patterns Technical Skills (Mandatory)Strong experience with Object-Oriented Programming (.NET Core)Design and implementation of RESTful APIs (resource-based approach)Hands-on experience with Domain Driven Design (DDD)Application design using Clean ArchitectureKnowledge of event-driven architectureUML modeling and relational database design Nice to HaveMicrosoft Azure Service BusKubernetesExperience in Insurance, Employee Benefits, Healthcare, or Financial services Soft SkillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong analytical mindsetQuality-driven and detail-orientedProactive, structured, and autonomousTeam player with a coaching mindset ProfileUniversity degree or Professional BachelorMid-level experience (2–5 years) in a similar role
