Senior Azure .NET React Developer (Freelance – 2 days/week)Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid)Industry: Railway Infrastructure (Public Sector)Start Date: 15 October 2025Duration: Until October 2026 (extendable, max. 24 months)About the RoleA leading organization in the railway infrastructure sector is seeking a Senior Azure .NET React Developer to support the development and design of multiple applications and APIs on Microsoft Azure.You will work closely with integration and product teams, collaborate with experienced developers and analysts, and provide technical design expertise while coaching junior developers.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop middleware solutions and productsParticipate in technical architecture & solution designMentor and coach junior developersCollaborate with cross-functional teams on innovative digital solutionsMust-Have SkillsBackend: .NET Core 9 / C# 13+Azure Services: Service Bus, Application Insights, Key Vault, Cosmos DB, Functions, App ServicesFrontend: ReactArchitecture & Patterns: DDD, Microservices, CQRS, Event-Sourcing, SOLIDOther Tools: OAuth 2.0, Postman, MS Dynamics 365Soft SkillsMotivated, autonomous, and flexibleStrong team-player and proactive communicatorAnalytical and solution-oriented mindsetRequirements10–14 years of relevant experience (Senior level)Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering (or equivalent)At least one recent Microsoft certification (< 2 years old)Fluency in Dutch, French & English
