Technical Supervisor Project Cargo

PSA Breakbulk is één van de grootste staal- en general cargo behandelaars in de Haven van Antwerpen. PSA Breakbulk behandelt, zowel voor import als voor export, gemiddeld zo'n 2 miljoen ton seagoing cargo per jaar voor diverse klanten. Ook voor allerlei industriële groepen is PSA Breakbulk de geselecteerde partner inzake projecten, heavy lift behandeling, logistieke dienstverlening, warehousing, multimodal solutions, etc.
Als Technical Supervisor Project Cargo ben je verantwoordelijk voor het coördineren van het transport en de logistiek van projectladingen (heavy lift, oversized cargo, etc.), waarbij je instaat voor de technische begeleiding van grote en complexe goederen, van begin tot eind, en hierbij een veilige en efficiënte verplaatsing waarborgt.
Functie:
- Je werkt hijsplannen voor complexe hijsoperaties uit en beoordeelt die.
- Je adviseert en houdt toezicht over het gebruik van verschillende soorten hijs- en aanslagmateriaal.
- Je maakt een Method Statement op bij (speciale) lasten.
- Je werkt technische plannen en procedures uit voor transport en handling, waarbij je ook de organisatie en het beheer van transportmiddelen (schepen, kranen, vrachtwagens) opvolgt
- Je waarborgt de naleving van veiligheids- en milieunormen.
- Je monitort de voortgang, kosten en tijdschema’s van transport en handling
- Je voert risicoanalyses uit en biedt oplossingen voor eventuele knelpunten.
- Je leidt en en coördineert een team van technici, operationele medewerkers (kaaileiding, Opsu’s, HSEQ, kuiperij,) en externen(opdrachtgever, klant, surveyors, engineering, …).
- In samenwerking met Technische Dienst zet je de materiaalpost op en organiseert dit.
Profiel
- Opleiding: Diploma in Supply chain/ Logistiek Management, Nautische Wetenschappen, Werktuigbouwkunde, Elektromechanica
- Ervaring: Ervaring in project cargo, heavy lift of industriële logistiek.
- Grondige kennis van hijsplannen en hijstechnieken en ervaring met het adviseren over het gebruik van hijs- en aanslagmateriaal
- Ervaring met projectmanagement
- Kennis van internationale transportregels en -voorschriften (bijv. IMDG, ADR, etc.).
- Ervaring met technische documentatie en risicomanagement.
- Talen: Vlot Nederlands en Engels met basiskennis Frans en Duits
