Mechanical Design Engineer – 3D Machine Design Location: Kortrijk, Belgium Type: Full-time | In-house role Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with a passion for complex, tailor-made machinery? We're looking for a 3D Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design and development of innovative, high-precision systems for a wide range of industrial applications. Your Role As part of a dedicated engineering team, you will work closely with the Project Engineer to bring bespoke machine concepts to life. From idea to assembly, everything is developed and built in-house. You’ll be responsible for: Creating and modifying detailed 3D mechanical designs. Collaborating with the wider project team to ensure technical feasibility and functionality. Preparing production drawings and documentation. Participating in internal reviews to optimise design for performance, cost, and manufacturability. What We’re Looking For Passion for mechanical design and problem-solving. Experience with 3D mechanical CAD software—ideally Creo + Model Manager, but proficiency in any 3D tool is welcome. Understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes (level of depth can vary depending on experience). Interest in working on complex, custom-built machines. English fluency is required; a basic understanding of Dutch or willingness to learn is expected. Dutch speakers are strongly preferred. EU work authorisation is required. Working Conditions 39-hour workweek: 8-hour days (Mon–Thurs) and a 7-hour day on Friday. Flexible start times between 7:00–9:00 AM. Flexible lunch breaks (30 minutes to 2 hours). Primarily office-based with occasional flexibility (e.g., for technician visits or personal circumstances). Collaborative and supportive team culture focused on innovation and quality. Why Join Us?
