Position Overview
The team leader reports to the production manager and has prime responsibility of organizing operators working on different production lines in a safe way and executing the daily production plan to achieve company targets and goals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Organize and supervise available labor to ensure that daily production requirements can be achieved according to the production schedule (e.g. picking raw materials, mixing, packaging).
- Record all activities such as productivity, downtime, maintenance activities, and labor attendance, and report to the production manager.
- Supervise the execution of checklists and cleaning forms.
- Review product instruction sheets from the shop floor.
- Ensure that the training plan and development of all process workers are achieved.
- Ensure that all safety, health, and environmental procedures are implemented.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
- Participate in internal audits concerning ISO 9001.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to increase productivity of the plant.
- Record and issue accident reports.
- Perform quarterly assessments of the operators.
- 3+ years experience in an industrial supervisory environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Dutch).
- SAP experience is a big plus.
- Able to communicate and instruct members of the team to perform all duties as required.
- Flexible approach and be prepared to undertake other tasks within the company as and when required.
