Nurse Recruiter

Position Title: Nurse Recruiter Job Description

Purpose & Scope:

The Nurse Recruiter is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of recruitment and retention goals. The Nurse Recruiter screens, interviews, and refers appropriate candidates to the hiring manager for placement. This individual recommends recruitment strategies to the Director and assists with the development of the recruitment plan, keeping patient care and the hospital's mission and vision foremost at all times.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in nursing or in a related field is preferred.

Experience:

1. Two years of recruitment experience is required.
2. Two years of experience in healthcare recruitment is preferred.
3. Experience sourcing on multiple jobs and social media sites is required.

Certification/Licensure:

Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions or Compact State Licensure in Nursing is preferred.
