The Opportunity: Your Next Adventure Awaits?Due to our growth, we are currently looking for junior consultants in Transactions and Corporate Finance. When starting at EY SaT, you will encounter a wide range of experience during your first years. You will be staffed across sectors and experiencing different domains (Due diligence, Valuation, decision modeling and M&A). This sets a broad foundation of knowledge and allows you to become a well-rounded advisor with both technical excellence and deep sector understanding as your career progresses.
Your Key ResponsibilitiesAs a consultant, you do the following:
- Conduct in-depth research on specific companies and sectors in Belgium and abroad;
- Prepare prospection and contribute to pitches;
- Contribute to the preparation of information memoranda, teasers and other (marketing) materials;
- Assist in live sell- and buy-side M&A processes;
- Support the client's negotiating position and purchase price adjustments;
- Perform financial due diligence procedures relating to the sale and purchase of companies and businesses together with your project team to identify relevant risks;
- Analyze key balance sheet components and valuation issues, identifying overvalued assets and undervalued/omitted liabilities;
- Support core business decisions through smart and sustainable financial modeling, economics and analytics;
- Provide input to purchase and debt agreements and other related documents;
- Analyze working capital requirements and seasonality relative to proposed target levels;
- Assist project teams to coordinate valuation engagements for management planning, financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance, restructuring and reorganization and corporate strategy.

More concretely, we are looking for people that meet the following:
- You are a Master's student or have obtained a Master's diploma, preferably with a background in Economics, Finance, Business Engineering or Commercial Sciences;
- You are available for a period of 6 months; please communicate your availability in your cover letter;
- You are a team player with a sense of responsibility;
- You can think in solutions, switch quickly, and have an interest in transaction and corporate finance;
- You are fluent in Dutch and have an excellent written and spoken knowledge of English;
- You are a born team player, critical, curious and results-oriented.
